Coaching Grundsätze

You are creative, imaginative and creative.

In CTI Coaching, all coaches follow the most important basic rule: We are convinced that each of our customers is creative, imaginative and complete. This means that every customer can solve the problem they have worked out themselves, since all the resources are available for this. We as coaches are merely supporting partners on this journey.

Nothing is broken – nothing needs to be repaired

An important principle: Nothing is “broken” with you and nothing needs to be “repaired”. Coaching is not psychological treatment and should not replace it (but can make sense as a supplement). In contrast to a psychological treatment, we look together mainly into the future and less into the past.

Discover yourself

With the help of the coaching, you will discover and reflect on yourself more, get to know your own values better and thus sharpen your goals.

You & I – equal – one team

I’m not an expert on everything and I don’t give direction. We work together as equals on the goals and topics you have defined. I always ask you “powerful questions” (open, intuitive questions) that help you to find new ideas and perspectives yourself.

Find a new perspective

Often we only have one perspective on a problem – our own. Coaching helps to try out other perspectives and to loosen up fixed perspectives. It’s not about finding a perspective to make a problem bearable, but about finding a new approach to solving a problem with the help of a new perspective. Changing perspectives is also a lot of fun and offers room for creativity.

Tracking

We don’t just make nice plans together, because the best goal can’t be achieved if it’s only on paper. We work together intensively and go into the “action” phase together. Coaching really begins with the follow-up – beforehand it’s a nice conversation.

I will remind you of the plans and goals you have set yourself and accompany you along the way.

Demarcation – what coaching is not for me

Unfortunately, coaching is not a protected term, so anyone can call themselves a coach, regardless of whether they have training or not. Therefore, the CTI training and ICF certification is very important to me, as their quality, ethics, expertise and tools are recognized and in demand worldwide.

To differentiate: I promise no wealth, easy money, immediate success or anything similarly dubious. Coaching only works if you, the client, are willing to implement the jointly decided actions and work on them over a longer period of time. Together we discuss the necessary steps, but you alone are responsible for the implementation.

Coaching is not mentoring, i.e. you will not normally receive any advice from me.

Coaching is also not consulting, i.e. I am not an external consultant who will provide you with a solution.
